Autorenporträt
Shifra Shaman Sky worked as a textile designer during the 1970s; exhibited her paintings and drawings in the 1980s; and both entered and exited a convent in the 1990s. Shifra has contributed to publications as varied as Voices Found: Women in the Church's Song (Church Publishing 2003) and Letters to J.D. Salinger (University of Wisconsin Press 2002). She holds an MFA from New York University and was employed most recently as website administrator for a local nonprofit.
