Autorenporträt
Allan Fels is former chairman of the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission. Before that he was chair of the Trade Practices Commission and of the Prices Surveillance Authority. He has served in numerous other regulatory positions, including as Prices Commissioner, Victoria and member of the Prices Justification Tribunal. Currently he is Electricity Price Commissioner and Emergency Services Levy Insurance Monitor, both for the Government of New South Wales. He was awarded the Order of Australia in 2001.
