Autorenporträt
Peter Yowie is an Australian man born in Melbourne , he gave himself the name Yowie after the legend of a mythical aboriginal creature and children's chocolate. He wanted a name that people would remember. He spent some of his childhood in late 1970s England and was dressed like a punk by his older, adopted brother and that sentimentality has never left him. He knew he wanted to be a writer from the age of eleven when he won an eisteddfod for his short story to survive an avalanche. In his spare time he plays guitar, swims laps at the local pool and sees live music with his bandbuddy.
