Steve Holmes is a New Zealand-born author and motorsport historian with a lifelong passion for racing. A former kart racer, he has written extensively on motorsport history for magazines and books, and helps run a historic racing category in New Zealand. He also operates The Roaring Season, a motorsport history forum (www.theroaringseason.com), and is a member of the Guild of Motoring Writers.
