Susan Briehl is a Lutheran pastor and the author of Come Lord Jesus: Devotions for the Home as well as the hymn texts for "Bread of Life from Heaven," "Holy God," and "Let Evening Fall." She lives in Spokane, Washington. Marty Haugen is a liturgical composer whose music appears in numerous hymnals worldwide. Among his compositions are "Gather Us In," "Shepherd Me, O God," and "We Remember." He lives in Eagan, Minnesota.
