Noel B. Poirier is a historian, writer and nonprofit executive who resides in New Philadelphia, Ohio. Noel has worked in the public history field for more than thirty years, leading history museums and libraries and helping tell the stories of communities across three states. He has written for numerous national and regional history publications, presented at countless libraries and museums and believes in the power of local history to connect us with the larger American experience.
