Autorenporträt
Alma Ann Jay is one of my alter egos because when I started writing, I was working for a school district where I felt I couldn't reveal my identity because my children attended that school district that was very conservative in some ways regarding teachers. I have been a teacher (students aged 5-65), assistant principal, central office administrator, academic coordinator and farmer as well as a mother and grandmother while living in three states. I prefer living on a farm with all sorts of farm animals, especially horses. I write about people and places that I know. My hobbies are writing, reading, quilting, spinning alpaca fiber into yarn. Baby quilts are my favorites and I enjoy quilting them on my longarm quilting machine. Gardening: flowers and veggies is another past time I do for fun.
