Babita Sharma, a proud native of Devbhumi, is a passionate educator and writer. With a Master's degree in Science and Education from Garhwal University, she has earned numerous accolades, including the Best Teacher Award in Coimbatore and the Nation Builder Award in Dehradun. After retiring from active teaching, Babita embraced writing, traveling, and birdwatching. She is soon to publish her debut book of poems. Recently, her short story was awarded the Best Story in Pahaadi -3, and another short story "Whispers of Fate", bagged a place in Pahaadi -4, a competition held by Mr. Sanjeev Kotnala for budding writers of Uttarakhand
