It follows the lives of two young boys, Moe and Eli Gates, whose mother rushes them out of town to escape the flying bullets from the gunfight. However, after witnessing the death of their father, even though they were raised in the church, the boys turn their backs on God becoming the town drunks and even denying God's existence! They endure many heartbreaks and hardships until God finally gets their attention and sends them on a mission. God never tells them completely what the mission is but they will walk it out in faith through many efforts of Toymaker trying to stop them from continuing on their mission from God! The boys will find themselves in places they could never dream of as they set out to do God's work!

Michael Finn overcame a turbulent upbringing marked by abandonment, addiction, and loss. He found redemption in a prison cell in 2000, where he had a transformative encounter with Jesus. Despite his struggles with education and a past of drug and alcohol abuse, Michael felt called by God to write and share his story. His heartfelt mission is to inspire readers, believers and non-believers alike, to surrender their lives to Christ and find hope in faith.
