Autorenporträt
Author Iole Florence lives in the UK and this is her first novel. Iole Florence met Ava Hedgecroft's mother in primary school and so Iole Florence has been there for all of the up's and down's of Ava's journey. Iole realised that this was an extraordinary journey that needed to be shared. Iole believes it can inspire others, be used as a reference point for professionals and also for other parents who find themselves caring for a child with diabetes or similar physical, mental, and emotional health conditions. As Ava's mum says 'as we know hindsight is a wonderful thing' - this book is about sharing her hindsight in the hope of helping others alongside sharing Ava's inspirational true story. Iole Florence hopes that she has done both Ava and her mum proud.
