Autorenporträt
Peter E Davies is a full-time aviation author with more than 35 published books to his credit, including 24 for Osprey Publishing. He specializes in modern combat aircraft, particularly those involved in the Vietnam and Gulf Wars, and he has co-written titles on several Vietnam-era US Navy types, notably the F-4 Phantom II and A-6 Intruder. He has contributed five titles to Osprey's X-Planes series and written for Aeroplane Monthly, Aviation News and Aircraft Illustrated. He is based in the UK. Jim Laurier is a native of New England and lives in New Hampshire. He attended Paier School of Art in Hamden, Connecticut, from 1974-78, and since graduating with Honors, he has been working professionally in the field of Fine Art and Illustration. He has been commissioned to paint for the US Air Force and has aviation paintings on permanent display at the Pentagon. Gareth Hector is a digital artist of international standing as well as an aviation history enthusiast. Gareth completed the battlescene and cover artwork in this title. He lives in Perthshire, UK.
