Nicholas Young is a Canadian author whose work blends tenderness, grief, and the quiet beauty of belonging. His debut novel, Under the Covered Bridge (2025), is a queer coming-of-age story set against the backdrop of rural Quebec, where memory and love intertwine in poetic, emotionally resonant ways.Nicholas works in law and is currently pursuing studies in sociology with a focus on queer and women's studies. His passion for storytelling extends into gaming and fantasy worldbuilding, where he crafts immersive narratives that explore identity, resilience, and connection.When not writing, Nicholas can often be found with a stack of books, a controller in hand, or immersed in a board game with friends. He believes deeply in the power of stories, whether read, played, or lived, to bring people closer to themselves and to each other.
