Od 1982 roku by¿ nauczycielem w sieci szkó¿ stanowych w Rio Grande do Sul, a od 1995 roku jest nauczycielem w sieci szkó¿ federalnych. Pracowä w Federalnej Szkole Agrotechnicznej w Sertão, obecnie pracuje w IFRS Câmpus Sertão w dziedzinie j¿zyków i edukacji, gdzie pe¿ni¿ funkcj¿ dyrektora generalnego instytucji.
