Il dottor Shashi Prakash lavora attualmente come professore assistente presso il SEAS dell'Università di Ahmedabad, Ahmedabad, Gujrat. Ha conseguito il dottorato di ricerca in Ingegneria meccanica presso l'Indian Institute of Technology di Patna, Bihar, India. È stato medaglia d'oro nel corso di Master in Ingegneria della Produzione dell'Università Jadavpur di Kolkata.
