One for sorrow, two for joy... This beautiful, healing and comforting book is for anyone who ever struggled with pregnancy or motherhood and is struggling to find solace in a world of people. When Jennifer Lane finally fell pregnant she and her partner were overjoyed. But it was not an easy pregnancy and her journey towards motherhood was, in the end, a journey of loss. In the wake of her traumatic grief and physical recovery, Jennifer - a practising green witch - was left questioning everything. Trust your intuition, they say. The universe has your back, they say. But what if the worst thing that could happen did? What good were intentions, spells and rituals then - when a woman's pregnancy can end, a baby's life can be taken, with the same brutality as a fledgling's. In this period of struggle the extraordinary mysteries of a women's fertility and the need to reconcile with our animal natures, to connect with the other inhabitants of this world, became crucial to Jenn.
