Produktbeschreibung
This book describes and analyzes the entrepreneurial strategy of the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP) for the consolidation of the Unicamp Science and Technology Park. This strategy has been in place since 2008, when UNICAMP took the lead in the project to implement this Science Park within its University Campus in the city of Campinas (SP). The focus of the Park is to bring together facilities dedicated to housing laboratories for the execution of R&D projects between UNICAMP Research Groups and interested companies. However, despite much more explicit support from the University, the implementation of this innovation space faces significant obstacles due, on the one hand, to a lack of interest on the part of anchor companies in investing significant resources in R&D laboratories and, on the other hand, to a lack of continuity in public policies to encourage Science and Technology Parks. The book concludes that, in order to achieve significant results in the long term and strengthen relations between the University and companies, greater commitment from these actors is necessary.
