That's "Skot" with a "K" and one "T."And no, he's not Scandinavian. As a way to differentiate himself in the 6th grade from two other "Scott Ws," he started spelling his name "Skot," and he never had to put his last name on his papers again. This creative, out-of-the-box thinking is what has helped Skot to develop and conduct unique strategic communication programs for companies like JP Morgan Chase, Sesame Workshop, Chiquita, The Coca-Cola Company, Cisco, Mount Sinai Hospital, and the CDC. When he's not coaching leaders and teams on effective communication strategies or recording one of his Unlocked with Skot Waldron podcast episodes, you'll find Skot speaking on stages nationwide. He has presented to thousands of people at conferences, colleges, and companies, including SXSW, The University of North Georgia, Texas A&M, The Home Depot, Pandora Radio, and Elavon, to name just a few.Skot lives with his wife (who's super awesome, beautiful, and smart) and two kids, Tallulah and Malan (who are also super awesome, beautiful, and smart), outside of Atlanta, Georgia.
