When senior Elena Park's civics project meets Rory Maddox-a teen on probation sleeping in his car-Silverbrook's hidden homelessness becomes impossible to ignore. As city hall pushes bans and school gossip spreads his mugshot, Elena, her cop dad, and a small church choose the harder path: confession, repair, and real help. With Scripture threads (Luke 15; Psalm 139; Micah 6:8) and a restorative-justice arc, this YA Christian novel tackles stigma, addiction's ripple effects, and hope that sees the unseen-and stays to build something new.
