Maggie Cole is a writer and a poet. Having worked as a freelance writer in various industries, she has turned to writing for families. Maggie lives on the side of a sleepy volcano in the Hawaiian Islands. Along with her family she is surrounded by a hilarious entourage of chattering mynahs, commuting goats and way too many deer. A mob of mongooses roams in search of chicken dinners. Simultaneously they try to avoid becoming the dinner of our local owls. Jackson's chameleons and geckos wander the property as well many different bird species. It is a magical setting. Maggie's first book, Upcountry Magic was published in 2024 Artist and Filmmaker
