Prakash Dongardive hat einen MLIS-Abschluss in Bibliotheks- und Informationswissenschaft. Außerdem hat er einen M.A.-Abschluss in Soziologie. Derzeit arbeitet er als Assistenzprofessor an der Universität Mekelle in Äthiopien. Seine Forschungsschwerpunkte sind digitale Bibliotheken, Informationswissenschaft, neue Trends in der Informatik und fortschrittliche Informationsdienste.
