UTILIZATION OF BIOMASS AS FILLER IN POLYMER COMPOSITES - This book contains various biomass fibers and filler obtained from local area (Malaysia), such as bamboo, wood saw dust, rice husk, sugarcane bagasse and kenaf. It covers an experimental data on the effect of various important parameters (percentage of filler loading, types of filler and matrix used, and chemical modifications) on the processing and synthesis of the polymer composites. It also provides valuable information regarding physical, mechanical properties and biological studies on thermoset and thermoplastic filled composites.
