During the daylight hours, author Tammy Battaglia is a doctor, a pathologist to be specific, who enjoys looking at what makes all living things tick from the inside out. She grew up in Kansas, next door to Toto and Dorothy, where she raised three children (all human) with her high school sweetheart. She recently retired from twenty-plus years of mainstream medicine to explore what her imagination believes it could be.When night falls and the moon rises, she can't help but imagine and write about the science that would make what others believe to be mythical, well...real.
