OFFICIALLY HALEE is the pen name of Halee Marie, a 15-year-old author from Acadiana. By age 14, Halee published seven book titles, including two chapter books, and started a growing literacy movement under her youth focused organization, Reward-A-Youth (RAY). As someone who lives with a severe peanut and tree-nut allergy, Halee is a passionate advocate for the food allergy community, writing the Allergy Aubree Adventures Series to introduce food allergies to youth in an entertaining manner. As a lifelong lover of literature, she was shocked in sixth grade to learn about the American Literacy Crisis.
