Autorenporträt

Émilie Rivard was born in Quebec City in 1982 with an incredible desire to create. Since 2005, she has published over a hundred novels and picture books for ages 17 months to 17 years, as well as texts for theater, magazines, and television. She is notably the author of 1re Avenue, winner of the 2018 Prix jeunesse des libraires 2018 (12-17 years), and she loves sharing her passion for writing with students in Quebec schools during workshops. The Jimmy Smiss Investigations series is the first she has illustrated as well as written!
