Vindafjord is a municipality in Rogaland county, Norway. It is part of the traditional district of Haugaland. Vindafjord was established as a new municipality on 1 January 1965 after the merger of the municipalities of Sandeid and Vats and large parts of Imsland, Skjold and Vikedal. It was further significantly enlarged from on 1 January 2006 when it merged with the neighboring municipality of Ølen which was a few years earlier transferred from Hordaland county to Rogaland county.
