Dr. Bhavana Sharma currently serves as the Head of the Department of Ophthalmology and Dean of Examinations at the prestigious  All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Bhopal, India. She completed her undergraduate and postgraduate training at the Regional Institute of Ophthalmology, Bhopal, and pursued further training  in cornea and cataract at the Dr. R.P. Centre, AIIMS, New Delhi. Dr. Sharma is a specialist in cornea and ocular surface disorders and has led the cornea clinic and eye bank services. She has authored over 100 publications in reputed national and international journals and contributed 35 chapters to various textbooks. She also serves on the editorial boards and as a reviewer for several prominent national and international journals and textbooks.A prolific academic contributor, she has presented more than 250 papers at various conferences and has received numerous prestigious awards, including the “Best of the Best” paper awards. She is also a recipient of the Achievement Award from the All India Ophthalmological Society and holds an honorary fellowship from the All India Collegium of Ophthalmology (FAICO - Cornea).  Dr Radhika Tandon is a professor of ophthalmology at RP Centre, AIIMS, New Delhi. She is also a chairperson of the National Eye Bank, chairperson, of low vision services at RPC, AIIMS. She is the immediate and past president of the Eye Bank Association of India. Dr Tandon’s special interests include corneal transplants, eye banking, stem cell therapy, keratoprosthesis, refractive femtosecond laser, ICL, premium and toric IOL, cataract, and pediatric lens surgery. She has published over 300 peer-reviewed publications. She has achieved several awards including The President of India’s silver medal, a gold medal from the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh, and the IIRSI gold medal.  Dr. J.S. Titiyal completed his graduation and postgraduation from Dr. R.P. Centre for Ophthalmic Sciences, AIIMS, New Delhi. He is a specialist in keratoplasty, refractive surgery, stem cell transplantation, lenses, low vision aid, and cataracts including phacoemulsification and pediatric cataracts. Prof Titiyal has been honored by the Government of India with the Padma Shri, in 2014, in recognition of his efforts to the cause of medicine. He has more than 100 publications in peer-reviewed international journals. He has authored three books on various topics of cornea in addition to chapters in many ophthalmological textbooks. He is currently the officer in charge of the National Eye Bank, India, and serves as president of the Indian Society of Corneal and Kerato-Refractive Surgeons (ISCKRS).
