Voices of War: The Russian Experience is a collection of historical literature containing pieces that focus on the mentality of warriors and observers of war in Russian culture over time, and the attitude of society toward war and warriors. The first volume of this two volume series includes records from the Kievan Rus to the nineteenth century, providing a wealth of understanding about how Russians viewed their experience of war.
