Autorenporträt
Daniel Pennac nació en Casablanca en 1944. Hijo de un militar francés, después de una infancia transcurrida en África y el sudeste asiático, se licenció y comenzó a trabajar como profesor de lengua y literatura en un liceo parisino. Sus primeras incursiones en la escritura se produjeron en la literatura infantil, pero su gran éxito fue 'Como una novela', un apasionado homenaje a la lectura sin complejos. A raíz de la popularidad de sus libros, dejó la enseñanza para dedicarse a la literatura.
