Walking Each Other Home: A Caregiver's Devotional is a beacon of hope and a testament to the enduring power of God's love and guidance in the face of Alzheimer's and dementia. Each page offers scripture to help with each challenge, and with plenty of space for journaling and note-taking, very important for caregivers not only to keep up with tasks but also to someday remind them how much they've accomplished. After writing her book, Walking Each Other Home: A Caregiver's Journey of Grace, Ann-Marie Murrell also wanted to also share scripture that helped her tremendously during her caregiving years. Based on personal experience and excerpts from her journal, Ann-Marie's wrote this companion devotional as a tool for navigating the daily journey of caregiving someone with dementia and Alzheimer's. Walking Each Other Home: A Caregiver's Devotional is more than a daily guide-it is a lifeline, offering solace and strength given only by God to caregivers as they embark on this transformative path. Ann-Marie hopes it will be used in conjunction with daily Bible reading and study to offer the guidance and protection people need while caring for loved ones.
Autorenporträt
Ann-Marie Murrell has worn many hats-author, editor, political commentator, and media producer. But when both of her parents were diagnosed with Alzheimer's, she stepped away from her Los Angeles life to become their full-time caregiver in East Texas. Later, after facing her own diagnosis of Early Onset Alzheimer's, Ann-Marie knew she had to write Walking Each Other Home. Drawing on her deep faith and firsthand experiences, she shares a raw, heartfelt, and honest journey of caregiving in the face of dementia. Her writing is both spiritual and practical, offering a lifeline not only to other caregivers walking the same path, but also as a lasting legacy for her own children.
