Denise Combs is the author of Walking Through the Storm, inspired by a challenging chapter in her life. After Hurricane Helene severely damaged her family home in Sugar Grove, North Carolina, she reflected on the decades of memories created there with her husband and two daughters. Married since 1997, Denise and her husband have built a life rooted in faith and family. In the summer of 2024, they welcomed their daughter, her boyfriend, and their first grandchild into their home, filling it with joy. This book shares how faith can guide us through uncertainty and loss.
