Walking with Guru Nanak Dev Ji: Universal Wisdom from the Janam Sakhis is a luminous retelling of the life and teachings of Guru Nanak Dev Ji - the first Sikh Guru and a timeless teacher of humanity. Blending history, storytelling, and moral reflection, this book reimagines the sacred Janam Sakhis as living lessons for the modern age. Through vivid journeys - from Sultanpur Lodhi to Mecca, from the Himalayas to Kartarpur - the narrative reveals how Guru Nanak Dev Ji's message of compassion, equality, and self-realization transcends religious boundaries and continues to illuminate hearts today. Structured for both young readers and reflective adults, each chapter combines engaging storytelling with thoughtful interpretation. The book explores the Guru's early life, his four great Udasis (spiritual journeys), and his enduring legacy at Kartarpur Sahib, where he modelled a life of work, service, and prayer. Written with the humility of devotion and the warmth of scholarship, this work invites readers to walk alongside Guru Nanak Dev Ji - to question, to learn, and to awaken the light within.
