THE LONG BIOKatie Gigliotti has been crafting stories and drawing pictures for as long as she can remember. She is fortunate to be the author and illustrator of two best selling children's books; Wander World and You are: Finding God in the Little Things. In addition, she also takes on author clients to bring life to their books through her illustrations. Originally from Windber, Pennsylvania, Katie earned a BA from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She spent the first 18 years of her career as an elementary art teacher in Madison, Virginia, where she still continues to educate young minds. Longing to create her own art and leave a legacy for her two children, she turned to writing and illustrating in early 2020. As a child, Katie couldn't seem to understand why people couldn't get along. As an adult, she hopes he stories will help people see the beauty of this world, the kindness of strangers, and the power of a vivid imagination.A child at heart, She hopes to inspire young minds to use their imagination and creativity to make their dreams come true.You can find her gazing at a beautiful sunrise, enjoying the quiet of snow falling, soaking in sweet summer sun rays, or lost in her imagination. She lives in a small Virginia town where she spends most of her time with her husband and two teenage children, who are too embarrassed to be mentioned here.
