Autorenporträt
After pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Painting at the University of Tehran, Iran, Ghazaleh Bigdelou began working as a writer and illustrator. Since then, she has worked on more than 180 children’s books—many of which have been featured in international exhibitions. In 2009, Ghazaleh was awarded Belgrade’s Golden Pen plaque for "The Joke". In 2020, she received an IBBY diploma for "An Umbrella with White Butterflies".
