R. Vivekanandan, the principal architect and interior designer at Vivek and Associates, is renowned for his contextual and minimalist approach to design. Based in Chennai, India, Vivek holds a Master's degree in Architecture from an American university and is a passionate reader and researcher. As a visiting faculty at various Indian universities, Vivek imparts his knowledge and insights on architecture. He rejects a superficial sense of national pride, advocating for a more nuanced understanding of our history. Vivek believes that true progress lies in accepting our past without bias, learning from both our successes and failures, and adapting to the challenges of the present and future. He firmly believes that this journey begins with a deep understanding of our history.
