Autorenporträt

I was raised in a very small farming town in Southern IL, population 800. After my degree I moved to WY and still live there, among mountains and vast open places. My work has been published in Owen Wister Review, High Country News, New York Quarterly to name a few. In 1992 I was awarded WY Council of the Arts Fellowship for my poetry, it was such an honor and humbling. I continue to write poems, it is my passion. The pages of my poetry are narratives that in many ways reflect my life's journey.
