Lisa jokingly admits that she's just starting to put the pieces of her life's story together through her writing. She grew up just outside of New York City in White Plains, NY. She graduated with a Bachelors of Arts in Criminal Justice. She completed a six year graduate program to become a rabbi. Her life's journey brought her to distant continents and more diverse careers in education, resource development and residential real estate. Her sense of feeling different remains a central theme in her personal story and the stories she writes. She has self-published her first children's book, We Are True Friends: A Story About Playing Fair And Being Kind.
