Autorenporträt
Charles I. Pino III was born in Miami, Florida, where he attended Lindsey Hopkins Education Center in high school. He earned an AA degree from Miami-Dade Community College and a bach- elor's degree from Florida A& M University. He spent two years in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War era. Charles then worked as a corrections officer for the Miami-Dade County Department of Corrections for twenty-five years before retiring in 2011. He has mentored juveniles being tried as adults at Broward County Main Jail and delivered the Gospel to inmates incarcerated at South Florida Reception Center for two years. He attended Sonrise Mission, an alternative to drug and alcohol rehab, located in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, for five years, leaving in 2021 as an assistant director of staff under the tutelage of Victor and Marion Adair, the directors of the program. He is currently retired and was inspired to write this book through the Holy Spirit. His hope is that it will open the eyes of Christians everywhere and instill in them a thirst for reading all of God's Word for their edification.
