Those who are new to faith in Christ or have led other people to faith in Christ understand that the first few steps of faith in Jesus are critical. Weight Shift attempts to answer questions in at least two realms--basic Christian belief (orthodoxy) and basic Christian action (orthopraxy). It will address questions such as "Who is Jesus?" "Who is the Holy Spirit?" "What really is prayer?" and "What are a few initial steps of faith a new Christ follower can take?" Ironically, there are few books today that address the early stages of the Christian faith in basic, easy to understand, practical ways. Weight Shift does this and more. There are hundreds of thousands of people coming to faith in Christ every year who need guidance, help, and solid answers as they navigate their first few steps of faith. A bevy of books will be recommended throughout one's faith journey--hopefully many that are helpful. Even so, Weight Shift was written in hopes it might be the first.
