Zakaria Boumerzoug é professor no Departamento de Engenharia Mecânica da Universidade de Biskra. Foi diretor do departamento de engenharia mecânica da Universidade de Biskra. Professor na Universidade de Biskra, desde 1992 até aos nossos dias. Publicou mais de 90 artigos de investigação e dois livros. Tem uma patente.
