Carole Lynn Jones is a cozy mystery and children's writer. She is a member of Sisters in Crime and SCBWI. Her award-winning debut collection of short cozy mysteries, This New Job's Murder, The Melody Shore Mysteries, was published in June 2022, with Flying Ketchup Press. She is also the author of All I Want for Christmas is for You to Leave Town, a Melody Shore short mystery that reached #4 on the Amazon 90-minute short mystery category. She is the first-place winner in the Children's Category of the PNWA.org awards in Sept. 2022 for "The High-Flying, Water-Skiing, Magician Named Worm." This manuscript was published in 2023 in conjunction with a Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania illustrator. Her most recent children's book is "The Hard-Working, Dirt-Moving, Garden-Helper Named Worm," published in 2025. Carole is a cat lover and an avid biker who enjoys biking the many trails in Western Pennsylvania.
