Tohid Shiri obteve a sua licenciatura em 2010 em Língua e Literatura Inglesas na Universidade de Urmia. Obteve o seu mestrado em 2015 na Universidade Islâmica Azad, secção de Tabriz. Atualmente, é professor e supervisor de inglês a tempo inteiro nos institutos de línguas Arvand e Ghasr-e-Zaban. Também é professor de inglês a tempo parcial nas universidades de Urmia, no Irão.
