David Holman is an English playwright with over seventy plays to his credit. His work was originally for schools, but began to be produced all over the world. He was commissioned by the RSC, Bolton Octagon and Theatre Centre, and in countries across the globe. He has worked between Australia and England since 1983 when he was first commissioned by the State Theatre Company of South Australia to write the acclaimed and much-performed No Worries for Magpie Theatre. Other plays that followed for this theatre were The Small Poppies and Beauty and the Beast.
