He ika a Whiro a Te Ahunui i Te Whare W¿nanga o T¿maki Makaurau (Bachelor of Education: Huarahi Maori Specialisation) me Te W¿nanga o Aotearoa (Te Panekiretanga o te Reo). Kua whai raihana hoki ia ki te whakawhiti reo, ki te whakam¿ori, ki te whakap¿keh¿ an¿ hoki (Te Taura Whiri i te Reo M¿ori). Donovan is a te reo M¿ori teacher, a consultant, and a strategic leader in M¿ori-medium education. His education was through the medium of te reo M¿ori, from k¿hanga reo, through to university. Donovan is an alumnus of The University of Auckland (Bachelor of Education: Huarahi M¿ori Specialisation) and Te W¿nanga o Aotearoa (Te Panekiretanga o te Reo). He is also a licensed interpreter and translator of the M¿ori language (M¿ori Language Commission). Rehua Wilson (Illustrator) Rehua Wilson specialises in designing immersive spatial experiences with a background in architecture. Her skills in making spaces visual stories have expanded into the world of print, where she also illustrates books with a specific focus on Te Ao M¿ori themes. She was a runner-up for the Margaret Mahy Illustration Prize in 2020.
