Yussuf Afifi is a Swedish scriptwriter, director, producer, author, and rhythmic instrumentalist. He was born in Cairo, Egypt. Afifi has a master's degree in Economics from Ain Shams University in Cairo. Afifi has chosen to work independently and without affiliation in order to avoid having his thoughts on society controlled by others. Afifi feels that he has a responsibility towards society and his audience and chooses therefore to carry out his work with a high moral standard, taking conscience as his starting point. Yussuf Afifi has written a number of synthesizers and made a number of short and documentary films, as well as feature films. His work is distinguished by its distinction in subjects that differ from the prevailing style in Scandinavian culture, and can therefore be considered a renewal in Swedish literature and cinema.
