Mary Cuffe Perez, lives in the upstate New York town of Galway with her husband, Ken and dog, Izzy. Her published work includes two collections of creative non-fiction, Barn Stories, (North Country Books, 2019) and Up Our Way (Wordrunner Press, 2023); two children's books, Gnarlys of the North Woods (Hobblebush Press, 2019) and Skylar, (Penguin Books, 2008); and three collections of poetry, Poems in November (Finishing Line Press, 2020), Nothing by Name, (Shaggy Dog Press, 2012); and The Woman of Too Many Days (Calyx Press, 2000). She has also published natural history articles in Adirondack Life, The Conservationist, Yankee, Northern Woodlands, Blueline, and other magazines, and poems and short stories in numerous literary journals.
