Renée Ecckles-Hardy is an award-winning author who made her publishing debut in 2020. Her works focus on themes of self-worth, self-confidence, and belonging, featuring African American protagonists. Drawing from her background as a school psychologist, Renée often includes characters with disabilities in her stories, promoting inclusivity. Based in Charleston, West Virginia, Renée enjoys walking, encouraging others, and spending time with her grandchildren. When not writing, she can be found reading or mentoring aspiring authors through her company, Brown Butterfly Publishing.
