Lia has traveled extensively, and her favorite trips include: a birthday trip to watch the best sunset in Santorini, Greece; a mission trip in Zimbabwe; a Safari in Botswana, Africa; hiking the cliffs in Batanes, Philippines; and watching planes land and take off in St. Martin. Other spontaneous travels that she has enjoyed include a surprise encounter with the Our Lady of the Rocks lighthouse in Perast, Montenegro, joining the Olympic crowd in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and a Sea to Sky Christmas holiday with her children in British Columbia, Canada. In her travels, you might find her visiting a coffee plantation in Costa Rica, taking a trip to Iceland to see the northern lights with her kids, dancing tango on the streets of Buenos Aires, Argentina, riding a classic car in Havana, Cuba, visiting the Vatican City with her kids, or witnessing the rainbow at London Bridge with her son. She's been to Disneyland with her grandkids in Tokyo, Japan; seen fjords aboard a traditional ship in Oslo, Norway; celebrated Oktoberfest in Munich, Germany, with a friend; and seen the Mona Lisa painting at the Louvre Museum with her daughter in Paris, France. Her wanderlust has taken her to Señor De Los Milagros church in Lima, Peru, conquered the Great Wall of China with friends, watched the hot air balloons in New Mexico, and driven the 'All American Road' in Alaska. Her goal is to fall in love with as many places as possible and never stop exploring. She has visited all 50 states in the U.S. and more than different countries and territories. Lia also has a fascination for lighthouses that began when she travelled to her favorite place in the Philippines, the Batanes Islands. Since then, she has explored more than 50 lighthouses worldwide and continues to discover new ones.
