Autorenporträt
Sharon Stephens was born in 1944 and grew up on a farm in Saybrook, IL, with her parents and five siblings. In 1963, Sharon married Jon Stephens. Their world was shaken in 1966 when Jon was drafted into the U.S. Army, just as they were expecting their first child. The struggles of making ends meet were the catalysts that drove her to surrender self-sufficiency and find the peace, joy, and miracles of sincere and honest prayer. Sharon and Jon have two married children, nine grandchildren (six of whom are married), and seven great grandchildren. Jon and Sharon currently live in Bloomington, IL, where they own an auto glass business and still attend church regularly.
