À propos de l'auteur Anne-Marie Courtemanche est née et a grandi dans le nord de l'Ontario. Elle est déménagée à Montréal, Québec en 1975 pour s'échapper et recommencer sa vie. Ici, elle s'est mariée et a élevé trois beaux enfants. Elle est fière de dire qu'elle a été une aide-infirmière dévouée et une soignante aimante pendant plus que vingt ans et qu'elle travaille présentement à l'Hôpital de Lachute. Anne-Marie est une personne compatissante qui trouvera un moyen d'aimer et de prendre soin des autres, peu importe le prix. Écrit directement du cur et du plus profond de son âme, Maman, où es-tu ?La main du diable est son premier livre. Après avoir gardé ses horribles secrets pendant des décennies, ses émotions, son épuisement physique et sa frustration sont finalement devenus un fardeau trop lourd à porter. Elle a enfin atteint le moment idéal pour raconter son histoire. La négligence et les abus sexuels, physiques et mentaux qu'elle a endurés à un jeune âge l'ont mené vers la voie d'un traumatisme, mais elle est une survivante. Écrire ce livre est l'une de ses plus grandes réalisations et elle prie pour que son histoire donne du courage et de la force à d'autres victimes afin qu'elles retrouvent leurs voix et retrouvent la vie dont elles ont été dépouillées. À propos du co-auteur Sharon Dorival est une écrivaine passionnée, son cur va aux enfants du monde entier. Elle est née dans le Commonwealth de la Dominique et a immigré au Canada en 1999. En 2004, son poème "It Seemed to Me" a reçu un Editor's Choice Award. En 2011, Sharon a été finaliste du World Poetry Compétition. Son poème "Applaud Them" est présenté dans Stars in our Hearts: Images. Son travail est également présenté dans trois autres recueils de poésie : The International Who's Who in Poetry, The Best Poets and Poems of 2012, and Sistahs With Ink Voices. Sharon partage une partie de son travail sur Facebook sous le pseudonyme Sweet Shabin.
