Whichever Way The Wind Blows is an eclectic collection of poems to be enjoyed by the young and the young at heart. Haiku, an ancient Japanese form of poetry is also included. While the poems embrace both fictional and non-fictional situations, along with the laughter there are few lessons to be learned.

Autorenporträt
Author Barbara Pierce began writing books for young people after retiring from teaching elementary school. She has published many, most of which are fiction. They cover a wide genre of subjects and reading levels. The author says writing books for children and the young at heart was a dream of hers during childhood. When asked what is her source of inspiration for writing her poems, she responds, "life in general". Her poems are reminiscent of a variety of life's experiences and others are purely imaginative fabrications woven into rhyming verse.
